INFORMATION and REFERRAL SERVICES

The LGBT Center’s Information and Referral (I & R) staff provides assistance to community members and service providers seeking LGBT- oriented programs and services via phone calls, regular US Mail, the internet, and walk-in visits to the Staten Island LGBT Community Center.

The I & R staff assist LGBT Staten Islanders and New Yorkers in accessing culturally competent services, programs, activities and events at a local, accessible LGBT-identified space. They can also offer more in-depth service navigation and advocacy by connecting people to appropriate, available resources.
